Recently, St. Bernard's Parish celebrated its 165th anniversary. 

As part of the celebration, the painting titled 'Veronica's Veil' was 're-presented' to the Parish.  This painting was found tucked away up in the steeple of the church building.  When found, the painting was extremely dark being covered in layers of varnish and years of dust.

The painting was pain-stakingly restored at a great cost which was underwritten through the generous donations made in the memory of the following gentlemen.
