RESALE OR TRANSFER

      Any space/niche owner may sell or transfer owned space. However, it must first be offered to the Cemetery Association. Should the Association decline to buy back any parcel, it may be offered to another party. In the case of any resold, or transferred burial space, the transaction must be recorded in the cemetery books before a burial will be allowed on the space. There is a small fee for this recording.

      According to Wisconsin state law, no burial space may be resold or transferred for more than the original purchase price. The management shall refuse to record any sale or transfer in violation of this rule. Violation of this rule would invalidate the negotiation.

      All transfers must be approved by the Management who shall act in behalf of the trustees.
