Handbell Choirs

In the past year, we had two choirs. One rehearses after the Sunday 10am Masses, and the other rehearses on Wednesdays at 6:30pm.  Even if both groups are full (contact the Director to find out), you could still be on the sub list and play for a rehearsal or Mass here or there.  St. Bernard’s owns a two-octave set, and we play music in various styles and difficulties.  NOTE:  The Handbell Choirs are currently being restructured.  In a month or so, a more appropriate grouping and schedule will be posted.

Instrumentalists

All are welcome to participate by playing an appropriate solo or ensemble piece as a prelude or communion meditation.  We have some scheduled instrumental focus Masses as well:  The third Sunday of each month welcomes string players to play along with hymns and an anthem or two.  The second Saturday of each month welcomes woodwind players to join in musical worship.  The best time for a Mass with brass focus is to be determined.
