Heavenly Father, these women chose to serve you in a life of Sisterhood and self sacrifice. Their lives are not easy lives and they have all given so much in obediently answering Your call to them. As a Sister, each of these women graciously accepted the task of educating your children; their brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus.

Regardless of the challenges put before them as teachers, without complaining, they met those challenges head-on, with fervor and with an unwavering faith in you. Daily they provided an inspiration to the students of St. Bernard’s School; a model for each of us to aspire to.

For those of these women who You have already called to eternal rest, we pray that their dedication and hard work has been rewarded and that they now share eternal life with Mary, the Virgin Mother of Your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, as well as the Apostles, the Saints and all the faithful who were called before them.

For those of these women who now suffer from the infirmities of old age, watch over their daily struggles and provide each and every one of them with Your most special Grace and Blessings. Even in sickness and old age, these women continue to do your work to the best of their abilities.

For those of these women who continue to actively serve you today as educators, instill in them a sense of accomplishment and peace as the meet the challenges of today’s classrooms. Continue to guide each and everyone of them as they mold the children You have entrusted to their care through education excellence and for the inspiration that they provide not only the children, but each and every one of us.
